Our mission...
The foundation’s mission is to provide a free, good-quality education to the children of Mikoroshoni and Shanzu in Kenya. To achieve this goal we need to raise funds annually of £?????.​
​Together with a free, good-quality education, we will provide, as long as funding allows us, a free daily meal via our Feeding Program for all the children who attend the school. To achieve this aim we must raise an additional £???? annually.​​​

At the Mikoroshoni Foundation, we make sure that every pound we
raise is used effectively so we can achieve our mission and aims.
Over ninety-eight pence in every one pound raised goes directly
to support our mission.

Funds raised help to maintain the buildings, pay our teaching and support teams, buy equipment such as paper, pens, pencils, textbooks and the other running costs of the school.

Travel to Kenya from the UK by MF trustees to oversee the operation of the foundation and school is always entirely at the expense of trustees, no funds are ever paid for travel.

The Trustee Team
Our trustees oversee all the aspects of the Fundation's work. Each one brings with them unique skill sets that benefit our mission and aims. Along with their skills, they each have a passion for education, charitable work, and service to others. Our trustees team are:

Lee joined the trustee team in 2016. He brings with him I.T. skills, Public Image and marketing, Social Media, and resource management. He's
tasked with making sure our web and social media offers are on message and with the development of new ways to promote and raise funds for the foundation.
